Good Afternoon Colonial Park family!
There is not a new “From the Pastor’s Desk” this week because due to the snow we had to cancel last Sunday. That would suggest we will engage this Sunday what we missed last week since we are in a series “Satisfied with the Savior” and we don’t want to miss any of the powerful message we receive from the book of Hebrews!
HOWEVER, if you’ve seen the weekend forecast, Sunday does not look good in terms of the weather. Actually this time we might have a major storm with up to 15 inches of snow and really cold temperatures. If any of that comes to pass we will unfortunately need to cancel another Sunday. I think that will be a first for me in over 42 year of ministry. However, God knows what is best and we will absolutely trust Him! Whatever happens we know He is in control!
Be in prayer for Sunday and we will keep in touch in terms of our plans. Pray also for me as I’m scheduled to fly to California Sunday afternoon departing out of HIA at 3.00 pm. That may be touch and go and yet I need to get out since I have a very critical meeting Monday at 1 pm PST.
